History

In 1946, Hanns Enssner (graduate engineer / England) established theEnssner translation service in Schweinfurt. The orientation towards technical-scientific translation was already given at a very early stage – over the courseof time and with the help of a constantly growing number of translators forall main commercial languages – through the proximity to the industry settledin Schweinfurt.
As the demand for East European languages increasedimmensely in the beginning of the 90’s, the range of services was supple-mented by preliminary stage printing / foreign language typesetting and anin-house graphics department was established. In 1996, the now thirdgeneration – led by Christian Enssner (graduate economics engineer / AUS)– took over the business management and merged with the Zeitgeist –Marketing and Consulting firm into the current EnssnerZeitgeist GmbH. Whiledoing so, the business segments were expanded by the technical documen-tation and advertising sectors. Strategic partnerships were formed throughoutEurope to more efficiently meet the increased customer requirements.
